Senior Engineer, Shareholder

Rich is an Associate Engineer who has been with NorthStar since 2019, he is a registered Civil Engineer in both Nevada and California and joined the company with 16 years of experience. Born in the Philippines his family moved to Reno when he was 12 where he graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. Having worked at other firms, one of his favorite things about NorthStar is the collaboration and ability to easily access help from others who have more experience or more knowledge.

Areas of expertise for Rich include land development, commercial development, and stormwater related projects. His experience is in residential, commercial, and capital projects specializing in site design, grading, storm drain analysis. Some of Rich’s most recent projects are with the Grocery Outlet, Double Tree Hotel, Mechoopda Casino, and Ophir Elementary school to name a few.

On the weekend Rich spends time in an ATV off roading with his grown-up kids, who also love camping on the coast. When he thinks about success, the person that comes to mind is his dad, who he sees as incredibly successful for having raised five kids who are all doing well. Rich enjoys watching pro sports, specifically rooting for the New York Giants in football season, or the Sacramento Kings during basketball season.
